He has stolen her past, but MacKayla will never allow her sister’s murderer to take her future. Yet even the uniquely gifted sidhe-seer is no match for the Lord Master, who has unleashed an insatiable sexual craving that consumes Mac’s every thought – and thrusts her into the seductive realm of two very dangerous men, both of whom she desires but dares not trust.
As the enigmatic Jericho Barrons and the sensual Fae prince V’lane vie for her body and soul, as cryptic entries from her sister’s diary mysteriously appear and the power of the Dark Book weaves its annihilating path through the city, Mac’s greatest enemy delivers a final challenge…
It’s an invitation Mac cannot refuse, one that sends her racing home to Georgia, where an even darker threat awaits. With her parents missing and the lives of her loved ones under siege, Mac is about to come face-to-face with a soul-shattering truth – about herself and her sister, about Jericho Barrons.and about the world she thought she knew.
I don’t even know where to start. I’m going to try to keep this as spoiler free as possible but I make no promises.
Dreamfever picks us up right where Faefever left us. Mac just keeps getting dealt hard blows but she just keeps kicking ass even though the world is falling apart around her and she doesn’t know who she can trust.
Correct me if I’m wrong but not much was actually answered in this one. We just have a million other questions. I still loved it! Mac is a amazingly strong character and don’t get me started on Barrons. I love that man(if that’s what he is). Please, please, please let Jericho be the good guy, that’s what was going through my head the entire book. I honestly think he is though.
How can we possibly wait a whole year for the next book? I can’t fathom it! If anyone wants to discuss the book, I have a small theory about the end it might not pan out though. There’s no question in mine mind who it was at the end, who else could it have been? Ugh! E-mail me if you want to discuss pureimagination77(AT)gmail(DOT)com or stop by my friend Candace’s group on Shelfari.
If you haven’t started the series yet, I suggest you wait until next year when all five books are out. The cliffhangers are killer!
