Christine Johnson’s CLAIRE DE LUNE, in which a teenager learns that she is a werewolf, descended from a long line of female werewolves, and must balance her human and werewolf lives, while tracking down the rogue werewolf preying upon the people of her town.
Honestly…….I wasn’t that thrilled with Claire de Lune by Christine Johnson. It was really only okay for me. That’s why I have been putting off this review for so long because I find that books I think are only okay are the hardest to write reviews for. I’m going to try though….hopefully I can at least get 3 paragraphs.
Claire de Lune wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t for me. It was a little fluffy and I really haven’t been in the mood for fluffy paranormal in the last couple of months. I liked the new concept on werewolves! It was only women! But I didn’t really like the characters. Claire was a little annoying and immature. There wasn’t much character development throughout the book. When there really should have been some.
The bottom line is, Claire de Lune by Christine Johnson wasn’t a bad book at all. It wasn’t a great book either. Some people, I’m sure, will absolutely love it. I will definitely read another book by Christine Johnson in the future…..sorry for such a wishy washy review!
