I have saw the movie two times now, I know, it should be much more than that! I might actually be seeing it again tonight, but since Twilight Takeover ends today I had to get this post in here fast. So here are my favorite scenes and some of the odd/funny things I noticed in the movie:
5. The fight scene.
I wasn’t that impressed with the Edward, Victoria, and Riley fight. I guess it was because that’s what we read about in the book, but I loved the newborn fight! There was so much action! It was a little hard to keep up, but the second time I saw it, I was able to pick up on a lot more. I wish this scene would have been longer, but it was still great!
4.The meadow scene.
The one at the end. This scene was in the book, but they completely changed it for the movie, and it really worked! In the book, Edward had decided to not wait to be married. They left that out and at first I was a little disappointed, but the extended conversation about why Bella is marrying him was great! Bella’s whole speech was flawless. It really gives you some incite into Bella’s head that we lack sometimes in the movies.
3. Jacob & Bella’s kiss.
Really, what was not to love? *sigh*
2. The proposal.
From beginning to end this scene was everything I wanted it to be. Edward proposing makes me feel all warm and gooey inside, not to mention the leg hitch! I kinda wish Bella would have cried when Edward “rejects” her, like she does in the book, but I can live without it. Especially since we get to hear “I promise to love you every day of forever.” *sigh* (again)
1. The tent scene.
I would have been heartbroken if this scene wasn’t right, and although they did leave some lines out, it was still my favorite scene. Jacob’s “I’m hotter” line was fantastic!!
Here are a few things I picked up on that were either funny or a tiny bit annoying.
When Jacob over hears Edward call Bella Mrs. Cullen after the tent scene, Jacob is blurred out in the background and he has khaki shorts on, so he looks naked! 🙂
Victoria was awfully flammable. Don’t you agree?
The didn’t burn Riley…..he might come back now!
Jacob is naked when he gets hurt after the fight! For some reason I didn’t even realize this the first time I saw the movie! But I think you can accidentally see his flesh colored undies for a second.
The scene where the Volturi are watching the newborns, the cut to the newborns two times and it’s the same exact scene both times.
Did you notice any oddities? What were your favorite scenes?
