If you read Part 1 yesterday, I guess you are wondering what more I could possibly have to talk about. Lots! Sunday morning we woke up at 7 and I whined until Beau got up and got ready. I needed coffee! ASAP! We decided to go to J Christopher’s again, since he didn’t get to go on Saturday and they have great food. So we sat down and ordered our drinks and Kelsey just happened to come in right after us so she sat with us! Then surprise! Vania, Kirsten Miller, Victoria Schwab, Myra McEntire and Michelle Hodkin joined us! How awesome is that!? If you don’t know Victoria Schwab is the author of the upcoming book, The Near Witch (Summer 2011), Myra McEntire is the author of the upcoming book, Hourglass (2011) and Michelle Hodkin is the author of the upcoming book, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Kirsten Miller was great! She remembered my review of The Eternal Ones! I didn’t get any pictures, though 🙁
The first panel on Sunday was Kirsten Miller’s. She talked about The Eternal Ones and Kiki Strike. (That picture really stinks 🙁 all the pictures in the courthouse turned out really dark)
Then we had to rush to the next stage, which happened to be in a huge church to see Cassandra Clare. Jackson Pearce dressed as Magnus Bane introduced her!!Cassandra read a little from City of Fallen Angels and answered a lot of questions.
After the Q & A we were all ushered outside to stand in a very looong line to get our books signed. After that we had a couple of hours to kill so we had some dinner at the very awesome Raging Burrito. Then we headed to the courthouse stage for the panel with Jackson Peace, Robin Benway and Michelle Zink. Only to realize we had out times wrong and we were 30 minutes late! 🙁 We still got our books signed, at least!
