I knew I would have a slower day today. I some in The Folk Keeper by Franny Billingsley, which was fantastic, but I wanted something a bit more light hearted so I decided to take the plunge and start my biggest book on my list, Love Story by Jennifer Echols. I just finished it and LOVED it! Now I’m going to finish up The Folk Keeper in the morning and maybe try to read another. Think I can do 6? I would like to…but I do have to work tomorrow.
The Bookish Type
Sabrina is asking us to name our top 3 love triangles and here are mine:
Jacob & Edward – I know, I know, but whatever it was an awesome love triangle! Sure, we all knew it was Edward all along, but Jacob was so likeable. You really couldn’t help falling in love with him, too. Unless you were one of those weird Jacob haters…
Peeta & Gale – Even though The Hunger Games was so much more than the love story, it is still one of my favorite love triangles. I had a clear favorite from the beginning, but it wasn’t always clear who Katniss would chose, if anyone. I loved that.
I’m having a harder time than I was expecting with the 3rd one. I guess I will go with Dimitri & Adrian, even though I am not a Dimitri fan….I’m still sad, too.
Pick any book from your readathon pile and write a fake synopsis based solely on the cover. The synopsis does not have to be related to the actual book at all, just the pretty, pretty cover.
