Blogger Tips & Tricks -8-

Blogger Tips and Tricks is a new semi regular feature where I will try to shine some light on some little known blogger things and maybe give you a few how to’s and advice.

Last week Felicia asked: 

I’m clueless on how to add links when commenting on someone’s page. I’d love to learn how, if possible.

This is pretty easy once you get the hang of it!  To make a active and click-able link, this is the code you will use:

<a href=”URL HERE”>Your Text Here</a>

It would look something like this:

<a href=”http://www.pureimaginationblog.com/”>Pure Imagination</a>

That’s it! You just have to remember to add in all the “s and >s Practice it a little in your old comments until you get the hang of it. And remember there is a preview button on comments so if your unsure use that! This code will also work where ever you can use html tags.

If you curious here are a few more html tags you can use in comments:

<i>Whatever text you want italic</i>
<b>Text you want bold</b>
<center>If you want to center something</center> 

Just remember to close the tags with the ending tag or else it can make things a little wonky. I hope that was helpful!
