Have you noticed that in the last few months your followers gadget doesn’t always show up? I’m it has something to do with all the changes Google is making, but it’s annoying, right? But I just found a quick fix. It won’t make it show all the time again, but I can tell you how to get your external follow link. See this is mine. It will take you to a new page that is just the GFC follow thingy. You can place it below your followers gadget in case it’s not showing up.
In order to get your link you have to do a few things. They aren’t hard. First we have to get your blogID number. Go to your Dashboard then your Posts page. Look at your url, it will have a big long number after the blogID= part:
Copy that and add it to the end of this url:
That will be your link! Make sure it works, then add it to your blog in a Text gadget. (For some reason it will not work in a HTML gadget. It must be Text).
I hope that helps you out LOTS!
