So, I didn’t get any books at all this week, but I did go on vacation to Charleston, SC. Here’s some pictures from that. I forgot my real camera at home so all the pictures are taken with my phone…
We went to Magnolia Plantation and had a fabulous time. We spent about 5 hours there exploring the gardens, swamps, and doing the nature tours. We saw tons of alligators!
We didn’t spend a lot of time at the beach. It was a little chilly and rainy, but the main reason was because the first day we were there we spent about half an hour in the ocean then got out, dried off and someone pulled a 4 ft. shark out of the water 100 yards away. From the shore….it made hubby a little nervous.
We stayed about 15 minutes away from a place called Sullivan’s Island. Edgar Allen Poe was stationed at the fort there in 1827 and there’s a awesome restaurant called Poe’s Tavern.
I have an irrational fear of bridges and I had to cross this one way too many times.
I didn’t take many pictures of downtown but if you’ve been there you know how gorgeous it is.
Oh and today is my 5 year wedding anniversary! Where does time go?
