Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome people at The Broke and the Bookish
This week’s topic is: Ten Most Anticipated Books of 2013
1. The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and The Evolution of Mara Dyer are some of the very best, most unputdownable books I have ever read. I can’t wait to see how the story ends. I’m sure it will be beyond incredible.
2. Quintana of Charyn by Melina Marchetta
I fell in love with Finnikin of the Rock and Froi of the Exiles earlier this year. They are beautifully written and amazingly creative high fantasy. I think Quintana is going to knock my socks off.
3. Severed Heads, Broken Hearts by Robin Schneider
Something about the summary of this book has me so intrigued. At the moment it’s my most anticipated debut.
6. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black
I read The Poison Eaters a couple of years ago and absolutely loved the short story that this world is based on. I can’t wait to see Holly Black’s take on vampires.
7. The Book of Broken Hearts by Sarah Ockler
You can’t go wrong with a Sarah Ockler book.
8. Requiem by Lauren Oliver
Sigh…Requiem is sure to be an emotional roller coaster, but I can’t wait to see how it ends. Please don’t break my heart any more, Lauren Oliver. Please!
9. My Suicide Playlist by Leila Sales
I love Leila’s books like no other. She is my go to for something fun but still meaningful.
