I’ve done one of these posts for the last 2 years. I find it fun to recap my year. So here is 2012:
In January I made a huge blogging decision to move to WordPress. Looking back on it, I may have jumped into it a little too quickly. Not that I regret it, because I LOVE WP so much more, but I really went into it completely blind. I think that’s how I adapt and learn things best, though. I moved everything myself which was really stressful but also not as hard as I thought it would be.
In May my husband and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary in Charleston, SC. This was our second spring/summer in a row in Charleston. We’re kind of in love with it. If you’ve ever been you know why.
We also went to the Decatur Book Festival for the 3rd year and it was definitely just as fun as every other year.
Just like any other year we attended a few football games and tailgated. (I feel like I should point out that I was not pregnant at the time of that picture)
Sadly, there were no hiking trips this year, but we did visit the mountains in the backyard.
After 3 years of trying and then eventually giving up/putting it on the back burner in 2011, I’m pregnant! Needless to say that has been the high point of 2012. I’m so ready to start this amazing new chapter in my life.

I’m hoping that 2013 is my year for a bebe. It’s been over 2 years of trying and we’re finally going to try some treatments. I actually find it so amazing that people get pregnant so much easier after they quit “trying.”

Yes, once we stopped trying everyone said that I would get pregnant…It took a year, but it happened.
