  1. Insurgent! Although at this point you’re probably better off waiting until the third book comes out. I also want to read Tempest and Why We Broke Up. I hope you’ll get to read them soon!

  2. Insurgent, Tempest, and Frost are SO worth reading. Tempest is really underappreciated by bloggers (which is a shame because it’s so fun and action-y) and Frost is just all-around spooky and atmospheric and GAH so good. Insurgent is great but not really the best if you hate cliffhangers. :) The others are ones I have been meaning to buy – especially Crossed and All You Desire.

  7. I have Roth on my list too only I just bought the first one and still need to read it. These are great books and I think this meme is only going to result in me growing my TBR list.

  8. Move Insurgent and Tempest up. They are really good!

  9. Deb Nance at Readerbuzz says:

Yes, we have made promises to these books. Now we must keep them.

Possible new policy: Read a book in a year or send it out of the house?

At least it would assuage my guilt.

  10. I just bought Insurgent this weekend and was part of my haul in my IMM/STS/Sunday Post.

I was so close to reading Tempest but didn’t get the time so I had to return it to my local library with a late fee!

    My Top Ten

    Have a great week!

  13. Oh wow, I’m surprised you still have Insurgent on your list because it seems like everyone rushed out to buy and read that one when it was released. Actually though, I think that one might be a good one to wait until right before Divergent #3 comes out anyways because it ends on a cliffhanger and there are a lot of details to remember. Good luck with getting through these one day!

  14. I have noticed this year I don’t buy as many, but I take them out of the library because I HAVE to read them, and then I don’t. Lol!!

  15. Changeling and Insurgent were both books I had to read right away but both ended up disappointing me. Hope you make it to all your books!

  16. I’ve been drooling over Changeling forever! I have yet to buy it though, which is probably a good thing! I have too many TBR books at home as it is. :)

Why We Broke Up is so refreshingly different. I highly recommend that one when you’re looking for a book that puts a different spin on romance and relationships while still being really endearing and honest.

  17. THE MAGICIANS almost made my list (and frankly, FROST should have). There were so many! I narrowed it down to random picks and the ones I genuinely feel most guilty about (today anyway)!

  18. The Magicians is on my shelf, too! I went to an event for Grossman when I first moved to DC, 3 years ago. Since then, they’ve closed the Borders where they had the signing… and I STILL haven’t read the book. *le sigh*

    Thanks for sharing your list!

I bought Insurgent right when it came out, but only read it a couple of months ago. It was worth the wait though! Just think, you’ll be able to enjoy all of these wonderful books when baby arrives :) … Or before :)

  20. I have Changeling, Insurgent and The Magician’s on my shelf too! So funny. Someday, hopefully someday soon I will tackle some of these. I am trying to reduce the TBR this year, but since I started thinking about it, I think it has gotten bigger. Crazy!

  21. You should read Insurgent soon! It’s a great second book in a series, honestly, as you definitely see the characters grow and transform after all their experiences in the first. It will probably frustrate you at times, and make you sigh at others. I do recommend it though!

  22. haha!! I have quite a few of these on my pile, i didn’t add them to my list today though.. I really need to get to Insurgent, can’t believe I haven’t read it yet when I ended up loving Divergent so much. =/ I’m bad at series books.

  23. Ooh I want to read a lot of those! :-) Hope you manage to get to them soon and that they’re good!

  24. I have about half of these and haven’t read them, too. I really keep meaning to read Tempest and Insurgent but every time I pick them up something distracts me. Good luck on getting through your TBR list :)

  26. ENSHADOWED was really disappointing, so it took me a long time to read it. But I’d still recommend reading it so we can all be ready for book #3 which I’m DESPERATE FOR! She really set herself up for an epic conclusion IMHO.

  27. I think I own Tempest…? It wasn’t on my TTT this week, but it’s one that I’ve wanted to read but never got around to. A TBR pile is just a monster. It keeps growing and getting more and more out of control!

  28. The only one on that list that I have read is Crossed. I got about half way through it and gave up on the series. Crossed really was so boring and slow that I just couldn’t bother to read anymore than about half way through. I hope you like it though and that you do find time to read the other books that have been sitting on your shelf for a while. :)

  30. The Magician’s is super dark, but awesome. And the narrator is one of my favorites, if you can get a hold of the audio. I need to listen to the sequel soon.
