It’s time to sign up for the fourth annual Once Upon a Readathon! This Readathon is hosted by Angela & Loretta at Reading Angels, Candace at Candace’s Book Blog and myself. It runs from 12:01 am on July 8th to 11:59 on July 10th.
What is a Readathon?
A Readathon is where you set a goal for yourself to read more books that is beyond your average number of books you read. There is no minimum, it’s all up to you, and you can read any book that suits your fancy! Push yourself to get some of those books read that have been sitting on your shelves for awhile!
What you do:
To participate in the Once Upon a Readathon enter your name into the linky. Then, from 12:01 am on July 9th to 11:59 pm on July 11th you read, read, and read some more! Make sure you do at least one update post (if you don’t have a blog you may do this on facebook and/or twitter) and participate in at least one challenge. Be sure to grab the button for your sidebar too! (Grab it on the sidebar!)
What you get:
Angela, Loretta, Candace, and I will be giving away a $100 Amazon gift card (or TBD if you’re international). The winner will be picked at random from the participants list. We will also be having a couple of mini challenges each day and there will be some sort of giveaway with those. To win anything you must participate in the read-a-thon. You must post at least one update on your blog (or Facebook or Goodreads if you don’t have a blog) and you must complete at least one mini challenge.

I totally would but baby boy is due in two weeks so I don’t think I’ll even be up for ours lol. We have had the OUreadathon at the beginning of July for the last 3 years. It’s a great time to have one.
I am horrible at read-a-thons, but I am going to try. I totally failed at Bout of Books. Lol!!

Ahhh, I’d love to do this!
The only thing is that here in the UK, I’ll still have school to go to because the summer holidays don’t start until, like, 19th July. So this means I won’t be able to read as many books as I can.
Sigh.
I don’t think I’ll be able to do it this year. Next year? Hopefully. If you do it next year.
Sigh.
But have fun doing yours! 🙂

So excited! This is my first read-a-thon or reading challenge of any sort, so I’m going to be sure and try to meet whatever goal I set for myself! Thanks!

I have one question about the time difference. I have some trouble figuring out when to begin and end since I’m located in Copenhagen, Denmark. Can someone please help me? 🙂
And, sorry for the inconvenience!

Very tempted to sign up for this. I’ll wait until I find out whether my doctor says I’m fit to go back to work before I sign up, though, since if I go back I won’t be able to read much of anything, and if I’m still at home I can read to my heart’s content!
