Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome people at The Broke and the Bookish
This week’s topic is: Top Ten Most Intimidating Books
1. Outlander series
I’ve read the first 5, so you’d think I would be intimidated anymore. I am. I would love to read the rest but they’re such a huge commitment.
2. The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
This book is loooong, but I know I’d love it.
3. Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel
I’ve had this one recommended to me so many times, but it just sounds so….odd. I’m sure it’s utterly amazing like people say, but I still hesitate.
4. Any Jane Austin book
Can you believe I’ve never read one of her books? Yikes! I’m a horrible person.
5. Any book by Stephenie King that I haven’t read yet
I devoured a lot of SK novels when I was 13, but I have a hard time picking them up now. They always seem soooo slow in the beginning and I don’t know if I have the patience for it anymore, but there’s so many I would still love to read.
6. Lord of the Rings by J.R. Tolkien
Oh guys, I really do need to read them.
7. Game of Thrones George R.R. Martin
To be 100% honest with you I’ll probably never read these. I enjoy the show but I found the audiobook to be…boring. Maybe because I’d already watched the show?
8. The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling
I tried reading this one…it didn’t work.
