Cover changes happen. I’ve come to terms with that. Sometimes I don’t always understand them but I assume that the publishing industry knows a lot more than me. That doesn’t mean I can’t have an opinion and a preference. So I want to point out some of the cover changes I adore…and the ones I do not. Whether it be repackaging or new covers for paperback. Feel free to state your opinion as well. This is Part 15 of what is turning out to be a very ongoing post. (There’s just so many changes) Click for Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, and the Omnibus edition, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10, Part 11, Part 12, Part 13, Part 14.
It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these posts, so forgive me for doing a bit of catch up.
Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn
I think this is a pretty adorable change. The original was just kind of…meh, but the new one is super cute!
The Probability of Miracles & The Museum of Intangible Things by Wendy Wunder
I was really surprised to find a third cover for TPoM in the bookstore a few week ago. I love the hardback and original paperback covers. I don’t like that third one too much. The original cover for TMoIT was so different and pretty but I ADORE the new cover. *heart eyes*
The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord
Oh man, both of these are great! I do love how simple and unique the new cover is. If I had to pick one, I think it would be the new one.
What do you think of all these changes?
