Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome people at The Broke and the Bookish
This week’s topic is: Read In One Sitting Theme: ten of the shortest books I’ve read, top ten books I read in one sitting, ten books to read when you are short on time, top ten books that will make you read the whole day away, etc.
It’s been a really long time since I read a book in one sitting! Not that I haven’t wanted to, I just don’t have the time these days. So on this list I’m including some books I wish I could’ve devoured in one sitting and a few that I did many years ago.
Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson
This book is action packed and intense. It’s so hard to put down!
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
As all you probably know, this book is impossible to put down. Really, is there anyone that hasn’t read THG?
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
I had the hardest time putting this one down and going to sleep. The swoony romance and the mysteries. It was a really fast read.
Exit, Pursued by a Bear by E.K. Johnston
This book is so quietly captivating. I loved it.
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
Ahhh! So much swoon! You can’t stop reading once you start.
Audrey, Wait! by Robin Benway
I did read this one in one sitting many many years ago. It was so fun!
Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
I love this book so much. It’s a fast read and it filled with Levithan beautiful writing.
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Admit it, you had a hard time putting this one down. I know I did.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne
This was a super fast read, since it’s a play. It was fun to visit the world again too.
We Are Okay by Nina LaCour
Most of Nina’s books are fast reads.
Have you read any of these? What was the last book you read in one sitting?
