Hi everyone! I’m going to start incorporating WWW Wednesday in with my WoW post sometimes. It seems like a fun feature and it’s always nice to talk about what I’m reading right now and see what everyone else is reading!
I haven’t gotten very far into The Upside of Unrequited, but I love it already! Simon vs was spectacular. I’m hoping this has some of the same magic. So far I think it’s going to.
What did you recently finish reading?
Since I last did a WWW post I finished up Strange the Dreamer and Letters to the Lost. I loved Strange the Dreamer. LOVED IT! It will probably end up being my favorite of the year. I have a really fangirly review of it here. I finished Letters to the Lost over the weekend. It was a fast and emotional read. I enjoyed it a lot.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m almost finished with my current audiobook, Anne of Green Gables. I already have To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before downloaded and ready to go. I’m excited to finally read it. As for physical books, I’m really not sure what I’ll start next at the moment. I have so many amazing sounding May review books. I’ll probably end up reading Windfall, When Dimple Met Rishi, Alex, Approximately, or Girl Out of Water next. It’s going to be a hard decision!
WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on the World of Words
For Magdalene, Ruth and Isabel, the spring of 1979 is a crazy mix of drugs, creative possibilities and the constant threat of sexual violence. Their world is full of the broken veterans of Viet Nam and of angry young people whose parents are not paying attention. More than anything else, the three of them want to get out of Highbone before it crushes them. This is a novel of place and time, of a moment in history that left everyone changed, broken, lost, and then found again.
Little Wrecks is about the friendship between three young women trying to keep their heads above water. It’s about feeling trapped, about sexual violence and the lie of freedom.
Release Date: June 27, 2017

Doesn’t this sound intriguing? I love books set in the 70’s. I’m excited to read this one!
