April went by so fast! I didn’t read as much as I wanted to but it was a lovely month. Spring seems to be here to stay and everything is already green. I love it. Here’s my month in books:
Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor UK edition (review) | Daughter of Smoke by Laini Taylor (review) | Days of Blood and Star Light by Laini Taylor (review) | Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor | A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. I didn’t get through as many review books as I wanted. I was in a bit of a slump at the beginning of the month. I’m guessing it was caused by all the wonderful books I read in March. I ended up DNFing 2…maybe 3 review books. I might still try to finish the 3rd one. I’m 60% in and it’s a big anticipated release…but I’m so bored! 🙁

April was a pretty quite month. It’s been nice and warm almost all month so we’ve had lots of outside and park time. Easter was nice. The kids had a lot of fun with egg hunts and eating lots of candy. We visited my Dad’s work a couple of weeks ago. He works at a rock quarry. We went so Finn and his cousin could see all the big machines. We went once 2 years ago, but he seemed to enjoy it much more this time.
I finally managed to mostly get caught up on blogging stuff in the last 2 weeks. I was way behind on replying to comments and visiting other blogs. Now I just wish I could get a week or two ahead on blog posts, but alas. In Bookstagram news, I got picked to be a rep for an amazing candle company in June and July. I’m really excited. It hasn’t been announces yet so I’ll let you know who it is later. I’ll also be a LitJoy Crate rep in June. I love their boxes!
I think that’s all the interesting things from me. How was your month?
