Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome people at The Broke and the Bookish
This week’s topic is: Top Ten of the Most Unique Books I’ve Read
Feed by M.T. Anderson
This is probably one of the weirdest books I’ve ever read. The way the story was told was odd, the characters were odd…just everything! It had a really interesting premise though.
How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff
The writing in this book was so very unique.
Sunshine by Robin McKinley
This is the strangest vampire book I ever read. It has a vampire and lots of baking. You will be so hungry!
The Dust of 100 Dogs by A.S. King
The premise was so different for this one – most of A.S. King’s books are. A pirate girl that gets cursed to live the life of 100 dogs. Doesn’t it sound awesome?! It was!
Liar by Justine Larbalestier
This book! This is the biggest unreliable narrative I’ve ever read. It blew me away. That’s all I’m going to say.
Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott
This is a haunting and heartbreaking book. I don’t think I’ve read anything quite like it.
Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
I love this book so much. It’s one of my favorites. The way everything unfolds is pretty confusing at first and the story is really different.
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
This book is such a mind trip. It’s definitely unique.
Bumped by Megan McCafferty
This was a really unique and quirky book.
Every Day by David Levithan
The premise for this one is so so unique!
