I kind of disappeared for the whole month. Sorry about that! It was a really busy month! We had an amusement park trip, Finn’s birthday party, and a camping trip. Everything was so much fun! I cannot believe Finn is somehow 4 years old! The time goes by so fast. He’s so smart, curious, and insightful. I love seeing the world through his eyes.
The boys absolutely loved camping. We had a creek right behind our campsite and they loved splashing in it. Finn got really good at riding his bike. We did a lot of riding and walking. We had a really good time. Now we’re going to start remodeling our pop up camper. We have some really cute ideas. I can’t wait to get started.
I honestly don’t know if I’m 100% back. I don’t think I can currently keep up with blogging, replying to comments, and visiting others the way that I have been. The last few months have been a struggle and it puts unnecessary stress on me. The boys both seem to be going through a really hard phase at the same time. I usually do blogging stuff in the mornings, but mornings have been a horrible crying and whiny mess lately. It’s too hard to work on something for the blog or read an awesome blog post while cleaning, holding kids, changing diapers, making breakfast etc etc. I could blog at night after they go to bed but that’s my only reading time and I’m usually so exhausted that I just want to get in bed with a book. I’ll still be posting reviews and the occasional post, but that’s probably it until things calm down. I feel guilty about not making time to visit other blogs. That’s one of my favorite things to do. Things are just so stressful right now. I’m sorry!
Enough of the gloomy stuff! I will be around on Bookstagram. It’s easier to fit that in and I don’t need as much brain power for it lol. Christy at The Reader Bee and I are hosting another challenge! We had so much fun last month! If you like to take picture of books we’d love for you to join us! You can find all the info here.
Be sure to check out my July TBR post this weekend!
That’s all for me! How was your June? Did you have a good reading month?
