About me:
I’m not good at these things, that’s why I’ve waited years to do this…but here it goes: I’m from a small southern town and by small I mean one stop light kind of small. I grew up in the shadow of the Appalachians. The only things to do were wonder the woods or read. I did plenty of both.
I’m married to the most fantastic guy in the entire world–trust me one this. We’ve been married for 5 years and we have 6 cats. Yes, I said 6. They are: Foxy, Midnight, Picadilly, Mercy, Willow, and Harlequin (Harley). I work as a Salon Receptionist Extraordinaire, that is the title of my choosing, anyway. 
I also do blog designs at Imagination Designs, but I mostly spend my time reading and writing to you here.
When I’m not reading or working I’m hiking or watching Friday Night Lights.

About Pure Imagination:
I started this blog 3 years ago on December 16, 2008. Back then I had no idea what book blogging was. I started my blog at the same time as some friends from Shelfari (you may know Angela and Candace, yes?). We all started them to keep up with a book challenge we were participating in. Then a few months later I discovered other book blogs and I was swept off of my feet. It just snowballed from there.
Pure Imagination has been short listed for Best YA Book Blog during Book Blogger Appreciation Week in 2010 and 2011.
